Suicide is One of the Leading Causes of Death in the United States

I'm not so sure folks really understand this.

I also lost my mother to suicide.

I pay attention to this because it has become unforgettable to say the least. The pain suicide causes is insurmountable. It stays with you forever.

I am writing this because I know for a FACT that so many people have done this since Trump took office. People have lost hope. It it so hard to navigate life without hope.

Unfortunately, "Merica tends to have the idea that suicide is a "permanent solution to a temporary problem. Some people really believe this. I have heard this directly from several police officers who say it as a slogan. This attitude makes mental health situations WORSE.

Also, "Merica is downplaying this significantly. Look at Hegseth trying to court-Marshal the man that jumped ship after unreasonable, horrific conditions aboard the aircraft carrier they have been punished in for inhuman amounts of time. Why should our troops be in this situation in the first place? They want to say jumping ship, desperately in chaotic punishment for no reason is a way of getting out of military work. This is SO fucked up.

The United States under the Trump admimistration does not care and cuts funding for help. People are losing hope.
